Italian magazine Nuestra America announced the presentation of the documentary "12 years of injustice", dedicated to the five Cubans imprisoned in the United States since 1998.
The documentary, which will be displayed at the Catholic Church of Santa María de la Misericordia in Rome and is about the case of five Cubans imprisoned for preventing terrorist activities organized from the United States against the Cuban people.
The cause of the Five-as Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, René González, Fernando González, and Ramón Labañino are worldwide known - is a defense of human rights recognized by international conventions, which have been violated, said the organizers in a statement, to which Prensa Latina had access.
The event will be attended by Luciano Vasapollo, professor of Economics at the University of La Sapienza in Rome and vice president of the Italian Committee Justice for the Five.
The event is part of the international campaign to free the Cuban antiterrorist fighters, which increases the solidarity actions demanding a prompt release, with activities every five of each month.
