The Argentinean Committee for the Release of the Cuban five launched a new blog, in accordance with the resolutions issued in the First Meeting of the South Region, The Brigade Against Media Terrorism and the 7th Colloquium in Holguin aimed at spreading the case of the unjust imprisonment and sentence of the five Cuban heroes, who are political prisoners of the U.S government for fighting against terrorism, and pressing, though the international solidarity, for their immediate release.

This blog constitutes another way to break the media isolation that the great mass media and the United States have imposed to Cuba.

The immediate release of the Five as well as the ending of the genocidal blockade of Cuba are the two political imperatives that today cover all over the world, North America and Obama must consider this claim.

The Argentinean Committee, with the creation of this blog, is involved much more in this BATTLE OF IDEAS and must assert the FELAP’ slogan “in the battle of ideas, the unknown ideas are not part of the battle” and contributes to the most popular and active struggles of the Cuban and Latin Americans.
