The organizers of the 7th International Colloquium for the release of the Cuban Five,  antiterrorists imprisoned in the United States have announed this event for the coming November.

The program of this meeting, with its venue, since 2005, in the eastern province of Holguin, was presented in Calixto Garcia, one of its municipalities, according to a Cuban News Agency report.

Furthermore, they introduced the poster and the video clip that will identify it, with the song Volveran, which was written by journalist Giraldo Leyva of Radio Juvenil.

During the event the contents of a letter sent by Cuban antiterrorist Gerardo Hernandez to the journalism student Yanelis Martinez was divulged, in which he expressed the gratitude of the Five for the solidarity received by Holguin, Cuba and the world.

Gerardo, Antonio, Fernando, Ramon and Rene were arrested on September 12, 1998 when they were monitoring the actions of anti-Cuban organizations in Florida.

Antonio’s mother, Mirta Rodriguez thanked the support of people from Holguin by phone and stressed the importance of this event in favor of the world effort for the release of the
Cuban antiterrorists.
