{dropcapçM{/dropcap}ore people in the United States will soon learn about the case of the five Cuban antiterrorists who remain unjustly imprisoned there since 1998 with the exhibition in three U.S. cities of paintings by Antonio Guerrero, one of the Cuban Five "as these men are internationally known".

The exposition by Guerrero "whose art has been exhibited in many cities across the United States” will be on display in San Diego, Houston and San Antonio.

According to the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five, organizers in these cities are planning exciting events to bring the freedom struggle of the Cuban Five to new audiences.

In San Diego, where the exhibition will be on display from May 6 to 28, a coalition of activists and groups, including Centro Cultural de la Raza, the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five, and San Diego Friends of Cuba, will hold an opening reception on Friday, May 6, at Centro Cultural de la Raza.

A note from the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five reads that organizer Abel Macías explained that a replica of Antonio Guerrero's 6'x13' prison cell will also be displayed in the art gallery. "We want the people to understand the extremely difficult conditions that the Cuban Five have endured for almost 13 years. Yet they remain true to their ideals and anti-terrorist mission. Our objective is that the San Diego community learns of the Five and joins the campaign for their freedom".

Macias added that well known Chicano artist Mario Torero and more local artists will display their art dedicated to the Cuban Five and the Cuban Revolution.

The art exhibition will arrive in Houston on June 4 and it will be on display in San Antonio in July.

Antonio Guerrero, Gerardo Hernandez, Fernando Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino and Rene Gonzalez were arrested in Miami in 1998 and given harsh and unjust sentences for monitoring anti-Cuba extreme right-wing groups that were planning and carrying out terrorist attacks against the Caribbean nation.
