The Isla de la Juventud is getting read to host the Seventh Common Front of Ideas with the participation of local journalists, artists, writers, staff from the radio and television stations, and from the Victoria newspaper, along with organizations such as the Communist Youth League (UJC), the Cuban Union of Writers and Artists(UNEAC), and the Hermanos Saiz Association.

The Cuban Radio portal will also participate in cyberspace with an interactive forum hosted by the Union of Cuban Journalists called, No more injustice, free them now, to support the struggle to free five Cubans unjustly held in U.S. prisons for fighting against terrorism.

Communicators of the Isle of Youth and several professionals from other regions of our nation, will address issues related to the Cuban press regarding the updated economic model adopted at the Sixth Party Congress, cyber-war and combating national journalism belligerent in that scenario, the promotion of cyber-peace, and the appropriate use of information technologies and communications.

The Common Front of Ideas will be held on June 25 with several panels, discussions, and special interventions and to share experiences in the Battle of Ideas, and go on the offensive with the Revolution.
