In view of the interest of a group of Haitians to know about the case of the Five as well as the motivations and consequences of this process, a political matter more than judicial, several members the Cuban Literacy Brigade in Haiti held a colloquial meeting.

Cuban members tackled several elements on the genesis of the case with approachable and direct language. They referred to the unjust sentences and fundamentally the great wave worldwide solidarity that this struggle has caused, which has ceased being just

Cuban but has become a struggle for justice for all the people committed to the truth and the honesty in the world.
This meeting finished with the commitment to a new exchange, for the richness and the relevance of the issue, foreseeing the future initiatives in order to increase the permanent international support for achieving the release of our five brothers.
