AAn interactive Internet forum will be one of the highlights of the 7th International Colloquium of Solidarity with the Cuban Five this Thursday in Holguin.
A panel composed of experts and relatives of the Five will answer questions posed by Internet users in an effort to inform the public about the latest developments in connection with anti-terrorist activists Fernando González, Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino and René González.
The first four are still serving sentences in the United States, after 13 years of unjust incarceration.
René is now serving a 3-year supervised release. A panel titled "The World Accuses Posada Carriles" will also begin today.
The confessed terrorist freely walks the streets of Miami and other US cities where the far-right anti-Cuban mob has entrenched itself.
Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosh were the masterminds behind the mid-air bombing of a Cuban commercial airliner in October of 1976, a crime that claimed the lives of the 73 people on board.
This terrorist recruited equally murderous criminals from Central American countries to place bombs in hotels around Havana in 1997. One of these bombings resulted in the tragic death of Italian tourist Fabio DiCelmo.
