On February 14 the Radio Rebelde national station broadcast a special program dedicated to Antonio (Tony) Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez, Ramon Labañino, four of the Five Cubans imprisoned in the United States for fighting against terrorism. The Cuban people had the opportunity to listen to the voices of these anti-terrorists during the broadcast. This way, a bridge of love between the Cuban anti-terrorists and their relatives and the island was built.
Arleen Rodriguez and Angelica Paredes were the journalists in charge of this radio program called "Una luz en lo oscuro"( A light in the dark), which was broadcast on February 12 on Radio Rebelde station and on February 14 on the Cubavision channel of the Cuban Television.
With plenty of excitement, all the Cuban people could see this special program. Fernando and Ramon's voices were listened to for the first time from their prisons, and those of Rene and Tony (the poet) were heard for second time. Gerardo Hernandez, who was sentenced to a longer time compared to the others, could not call his wife Adriana on Saint Valentine's Day. He has not seen her for 13 years.
The anti-terrorists' wives and Tony's mother were present in the studio of Radio Rebelde station during the two hour fifteen minute program, which was full of emotion and tears most of the time.
