Fidel Castro
The Russian publisher Algorithm put on sale the work "Aggressive States of America", which summarizes more than 200 articles by the revolutionary leader about Washington's anti-Cuba policy.
In addition, the 200 reflections of Fidel Castro written since 2006 aroused considerable interest among national publishing companies, as for example the book in Russian by Alpina edition "Reflections by the Commander", published in 2009.
Similarly, last year the publishing company Riper Classic released the Russian version of "Fidel Castro, My Life", based on 100 hours of interviews with the Spanish writer Ignacio Ramonet, director of Le Monde Diplomatique.
Also exhibited is the book "Fidel Castro, lives of famous men" published by the label Maladaya Gvardia. The list of titles about the life and political thought of the leader of the Cuban Revolution includes, among others, the book "Fidel Castro and his guerrillas" by the Russian historian Zoya Sokolova, and the publishing house Astrel.
At the fair in Moscow, Cuba is presenting about 80 titles on different aspects of life in Cuba, according to Zuleica Romay, president of the Cuban Book Institute, who, along with Vice Minister of Culture Fernando Rojas, heads the Cuban delegation.
