diploma enciclopedia cubaEsteban Lazo Hernández, vice president of the Council of State, has sent a diploma of recognition to the workers of Radio Encyclopedia station for its contribution to the spiritual growth of the country, promotion of the Cuba's Revolutionary values, as well as its contribution to the country's culture and education of the people on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
 
Also, Danylo Sirio Lopez, president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT), congratulated Radio Enciclopedia in a ceremony held at this radio station, which was also attended by Yuzaima Villena Cardona, an official of the Central Committee of Cuba's Party (PCC), directors of the Cuban Radio and assiduous listeners of this peculiar station.
 
Among the different activities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Radio Encyclopedia, a concert was performed the day before at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi with excellent performers and composers including light instrumental music. The female radio announcers of the station hosted this concert dedicated Radio Enciclopedia staff. They included: Maurin Delgado, María Meyado, Alejandra Maria Tamayo, Lizandra Amat and Yamile Gomez.
 
Great moments of enjoyment were presented by talented Cuban musicians and composers such as pianist Harold Lopez Ruy Nussa and his brother Adrian, guitarist Luis Manuel Molina, pianists María del Henar Navarro and Jorge Luis Pacheco and saxophonist Javier Zalba.

At the end of the evening the young clarinetist Yanio Abreu and his band also performed, which closed this wonderful concert.
