After two successful tour last year around the United Status, which included concerts in well known forums such as the Lincoln Center from New York and the Gusman Center for the Arts in Miami, Carlos Varela returns with his band this summer to the northern country.The tour, which will begin with a concert on June 10 in the Great Music Hall from San Francisco, also includes the participation in two important summer festivals: the Playboy Jazz Festival, which takes place in the Hollywood Bowl from Los Angeles and the Clearwater Hudson Revival Festival, organized by the legenday U.S. musician Pete Seeger in the Croton-on-Hudson city (NY). This festival brings together every year important folk singers, composers and bands from that country.
From the west coast Varela and his band will extend their tour though other six states with performances in other important cultural centers in Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington and Florida.
Celebrating his 30 years of professional career and presenting its last album production No es el fin, Varela arrives this time to the United States by the hand of his friend and colleague Jackson Browne, with whom he will share the stage in some of his performances.
