It is encouraging to note that the historical profile of the dramatized programming  in the Cuban Radio has undergone in the last fifteen years (to focus on a certain time), a revitalization towards the search for sustained quality and provide our listeners warrants, each more demanding and educated, a subject so close and starring in their own lives.

The radio proposals of the most important production centers self-produced dramas (national and provincial) in our radio system. The History taken with the seriousness that has marked it brings great moments in programs of national radio stations such as Radio Progreso and Radio Arte without forgetting the provincial radio stations in Santiago de Cuba and Camagüey, which have developed in their thematic plans the historical dramas of unforgettable plays and deserve to be the memories of the media as an example excellent performances. There is no doubt, what is expressed here, shows an improvement, on the other hand, should not lead to overly optimistic assessments cloud necessary assessments and urgent a matter as delicate as is the historical theme in itself.

The discussion of this issue requires, first, to move around certain concepts and values involved in the historical theme of the radio which is completely accessible with absolute imagination. However, fortunately, other radio productions of historical profile have been sustained through many vicissitudes and even, as we noted above, are consolidated paradigmatic aspects worthy of consideration. Just a few examples suffice to confirm that it is seeking new paths through dramaturgical most successful proposals: historical novels produced by Radio Arte from 1995 to 2008 and marked a shift towards quality and therefore public acceptance that listening. This would add quality to radio serials by Radio Progreso billed for their well-designed dramatized programs in that specialty. And as we said above that recorded in the provinces and record dramas have also raided, with more or fewer hits in this thematic of programming.

My view is that we must design meetings workshops to discuss historical profile programming in the Cuban Radio, where exactly is discussed strengths and weak aspects of it, as well as consider new ideas to be added to achieve a schedule where quality is the hallmark that distinguishes it, and where not lose any real sense the search for new ways of dramaturgy.

It is true that it has increased the presence of historical programming at the stations of the country, important ingredient to the proper conduct of the overall culture of our listeners. It is therefore an urgent need to bring together interested parties to see their faces in deepening exchanges covering all possible edges of the problem that leads to excellence in quality, the target to be given at its center.

Moreover, it should be noted how a rescue appreciates the ephemeris and local or regional issues in each province, including the historical theme in the websites of each core that has radial, and coupled with a better coordination with the mass organizations, agencies and institutions that address the historical discipline in every region of the country. Undoubted strengths are coming to our Radio distinguishing Cuba under difficult historical moments has had to overcome and do it wisely for the good of the radio audience.

Our dramatized programming have been marked on the attributes of history as we know, need, in the Cuban Radio, for sustained scripts (soap operas or programs unit) quality, while a scientific quality advice that respects the magic that Radio itself proposed and a passionate and artistic direction of the proposal. We in the middle radial know that the absence of these factors have resulted, for a long time, in an ominous view of actors, directors and consultants in this specialty to the point of rejecting it years ago and try to get out of it as quickly as possible, without putting the "bomb" that has made necessary the Radio, a great mass media.

Scripts which do not correspond to content and form, uncreative writers reiterating, again and again, long parliaments, plans, no intentions, paperboard, little or no investigative search on characters or events to be treated, noting that more than anecdotal truly transcendental essence of the proposal, taking advantage of the literary at the expense of history; inefficient music performance (why would our Alejo Carpentier), where treachery is assumed with the same funeral music from other time propose the fatigue of evil deeds and therefore a mental exhaustion that does not correspond with the cultural agenda which we have been called the Revolution, and within it the space necessary to attract the attention of young people.

We need to eliminate Manichaeism historical characters providing pompous, artificial, voices where the human (as were) we are hiding in a production called beautiful and without potholes.

History is history, and nobody can ignore it. It is fair to appear on radio with all the force of its truth. And always think of the listener. There is no doubt that requires more and more professional delivery through our historical profile programs. This leads to better care, in addition to children and young listeners, for whom history is a matter of education in the deeper concepts.

Better management of historical sources in the investigation stage, a script which translate the laws of dramaturgy at the proposal, unit or serial, a consultancy trained in this specialty, address, and a professional cast make this program shine magic communication transmitter-receiver, a study of the transmission schedules of the programs will be clearing the way for the achievement of new projections in this continuing challenge posed by radio challenges in the twenty-first century.

What is at issue is to educate, entertain and inform the listener, move him into a proposal for artistic quality. The quality of programming on our radius historical profile will always be a proposal for a culture to which we must not resign. That is the challenge and greater projection. The times are not allow to pass out in this task we are called the broadcasters.
