Ortiz and Lopez, Olympic champions in London 2012, led the survey of Cuban National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation and the press, as well as volleyball players Wilfredo León and Yanelis Santos, but in teams sport category
 
Men's volleyball , boxing and baseball were the best team, individual and team sport, in that order, while the rookie of the year was the boxer Robeisy Ramirez, monarch in London.

Leuris Pupo, shooting Olympic champion, topped the 13 most prominent list, followed by London medalists, Ronier Iglesias (gold -boxing), Yarelis Silva ( silver-athletics), Yanet Bermoy ( silver-judo), Asley Gonzalez ( silver-judo) and Leonel Suarez ( bronze-athletics).

The list also shows the laureates in the British capital, Liban Lopez (bronze -wrestling), Ivan Cambar (bronze- weightlifting) and Robelis Despaigne (bronze-taekwondo), and Hanser Garcia (seventh place, swimming).
 
The group is completed by Lazaro Alvarez ( bronze-boxing), Yasniel Toledo (bronze-boxing) and Yarelys Barrios ( Fourth place-athletics), who is about to receive the bronze medal after Russian Daria Pishchalnikova´s doping.

As usual, there were chosen the best disabled athlete, who was the sprinter Yunidis Castillo (athletics), three-time champion in London, as well as the best national and international referees, which were Ismel Fernández (volleyball) and Sergio Enrique Cabrera (soccer).

The most outstanding physical education teacher was Eugenio Antonio Tamayo, from Granma province, while in special activities were chosen Erick Hernandez ( ball control) and Carlos Lafont ( ball control in a pool) .
