After resounding for 24 hours, a traveling, non-stop performance of the Cuban musical genre known as son continued en route to the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, where it will arrive on May 14.

The refrains and rhythmical twists of this son are now being enjoyed in Artemisa province, leading up to the 2011 Cubadisco International Fair, once again devoted to this genre and its exponents.

In Pinar del Rio, more than 20 bands performed on a stage located in the historical district, a festivity that marked the start of a musical journey through the island.
