Carlos Varela and his band have been invited to participate in the Jazz Festival  "Blue Note" will take place in New York City over June. The festival will celebrate the 30 anniversary of Blue Note Jazz Club, a real cultural institution in New York City and one of the most important and worldwide renown Jazz Clubs. In the festival opening will be present present a lot of first-level musicians such as Dave Brubeck, Chris Botti, Nancy Wilson, Bobby McFerrin, Roberta Flack, Brian Wilson, Medeski Martin & Wood, El Gran Combo, McCoyTyner, Youssou N 'Dour Bill Frisell, Meshell Ndegeocello, Madeleine Peyroux, Chaka Khan, and many others.

In addition to celebrate with a special series of concerts at the Blue Note, the club will host an outdoor concert at the Summer Stage in the Central Park and other important venues like the Beacon Theater, Town Hall, BB King Blues Club & Grill, Highline Ballroom, Jazz Center at Lincoln and the Center Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, among other places.

Carlos Varela’s presentation with his band will be on Sunday June 19 at 8:00 pm at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, located in the central part of ​​Manhattan.
