
National Radio Festival celebrates CMKC aniversary
Last Tuesday, March 23rd CMKC radio station from Santiago de Cuba celebrates its 80th anniversary and it is also represented in the XXXII National Radio Festival which opened yesterday in the Athens of Cuba with the arrival of delegates and guests at the greatest event of the radio in Cuba.

Starting Tuesday theoretical sessions, while the program of activities including a gala awards highlighted the individuality of this XXXII Festival, the opening of the Press Room, and an exchange with personalities and leaders of the province.
The radial system in Matanzas consists on provincial radio station Radio 26, and five municipal plants Radio Ciudad Bandera, Radio Llanura from Colon, radio Victoria de Giron, Radio Varadero and from La Cienaga de Zapata, radio Voz de la Victoria.
About 600 works were presented at the XXXII National Festival of the Cuban Radio and now the winners were published in the top three seats for each category and awards for individuals, accessible on the web site www.radiocubana.cu
From 50 works that were awarded, which are nominees to the Great Awards, 42 are from municipal radio stations which shows that radio is opening participation spaces in their communities.
