La Habana winner province of the National Radio Festival and Holguin venue of the next meeting of the media

Radio Rebelde, Radio Guines and Radio Cadena Agramonte were the most awarded radio stations with the Great Award in their categories in the closing ceremony of the National Radio Festival which took place in Cardenas where is located Bandera, the most ancient radio station of the country.

The celebration of the radio creators was in Cardenas movie-theater, it was attended by the participants in the theoretical working days as well as personalities and artists of Merit of our media, guest to the awards ceremony.

Guillermo Pavón Pacheco, vice president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, recognized the friendly welcome of people from Matanzas during these days, the exchange this morning in La Ruta del Esclavo Museum, located in San Severino Castle.

The Organizing Committee of the National Radio Festival also awarded provincial radio stations Radio Angulo from Holguin and CMKC from Santiago de Cuba, which celebrated its 80 anniversary.

Municipal radio stations Radio Guines, Radio Camoa and Radio Artemisa in third place were also awarded. Likewise La Habana province was awarded again among Provincial Directions of the media as well as Camaguey and Holguin.

Concerning national radio stations, Radio Rebelde won the Great Award followed by Radio Progreso and it was the first time Radio Reloj are among the most outstanding radio stations.

The next meeting of the Cuban Radio will be held in the eastern province of Holguin and will be dedicated to honor the international radio station Radio Habana Cuba, which in 2011 will celebrate its 50 anniversary.
