Carlos Miguel Pereira, Cuba’s ambassador to China attended the book  presentation ceremony. The book: “Cuba Cincuenta años después.  El derecho de pertenencia y permanencia. ” (Cuba 50 years later: Its Right of Ownership and Continued Presence) by Mexican writer Efrén Calvo Adamé was presented at the Cuban embassy on January 18th. Ambassadors from African and Latin America countries also attended.

The author described his book as a tribute paid to the Cuban Revolution. Professor Xu Sichen, a Chinese renowned researcher and writer stressed: “This book entails the four main Cuba Revolution achievements; it is a valuable book that deserves our attention and study.”

On his part, Ambassador Pereira noted: "The author has put in our hands a text that helps to think things over,  without dogmas or conceptual prejudices; that  helps us to see Cuba's past, present and future with responsibility and commitment."
