Cuban President Raul Castro welcomed Miguel Angel Moratinos, parliamentary deputy of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party and former foreign minister.

During their meeting on Sunday, the two officials talked about the current international situation, including the food crisis, Cuba's nightly TV news program reported.

The Spanish ambassador to Havana, Manuel Cacho, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, and First Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina also attended the meeting.
