Among the messages sent is included that of Bolivian President Evo Morales, who wished good luck to the Party meeting. The head of state noted in his letter addressed to Fidel and Raul that he had followed the wide consultation process as a prelude to this forum with great interest and admiration.
Morales added that the peoples, who have started a road towards a new, fair, supportive and honorable society, will continue to show great admiration, respect and trust for Cuba, its Communist Party and its Revolution.
"Commander in Chief Fidel Castro will continue to be our guide; I’m sure that his ideas and example of a consistent revolutionary will always head the world struggle against imperialism,” reads the letter.
Communists from Vietnam also sent a message to their counterparts in Cuba, which had a great impact on the media from that nation.
In El Salvador, the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front noted about the great meeting: "The Cubans have analyzed the state of political, economy and social, issues by way of a sovereign and democratic manner, and without pressure from anyone."
The newspaper Granma reported on Monday 18 that up to April 15, the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Party had received 54 greetings and congratulation messages from 41 parties and political organizations.
The newspaper also reported that the presidents of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez Frías, and the Republic of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, sent greetings, in a special manner, by way of letters addressed to Fidel, Raul, the Cuban government and its people.
Chavez and Ortega said that Cuba's socialist revolution is an example for Latin America and the entire world, and it can be translated into welfare and justice.
