The Cuban people will be accompanied by many important world personalities on May 1st, when more than 200 members of International brigades of from all the continents will attend in the event.

Members of the 6th International Brigade, which is visiting our nation for these days, specifically at Julio Antonio Mella international camp,  have great expectations with the possibility of participating in the great event of the Cuban workers.

Matias Javier Noal, a young member of Argentina- Cuba Friendship Centre said “it is an honor to participate in a parade where will prevail with the characteristic joy of the Cuban people.

The President of the Cuban German Friendship Association, who visits our country every year in order to support the solidarity activities and helps the public mobilization centered on Cuba, mainly for the case of the Five, expressed her gratitude for being in Cuba and attending on May 1st  which always strengthens fighting for the just causes.

 

The members of the brigade participated on Thursday in the inauguration Cuban Roberto Bustos’s photo exhibition, had the chance to exchange ideas, proposals, comments with some relatives of the Cuban Five.

Antonio Guerrero’s mother, Mirtha Rodriguez recalled that only the unstoppable struggle and the spreading information about the manipulated process against the Five, will increase the possibility of their freedom.

Candido Rene Gonzalez, Rene’s father, stated that the Cuban patriots were defending not only the Revolution but also the U.S people for these reasons it is important to declare that their sentences violate the U.S Constitution regulations.

During the meeting the Five’s relatives recalled the difficult situation of Gerardo Hernandez, three days after the U.S government asked the district attorney’s office to reject his habeas corpus request as well as the possibility of revising his case.
