Iván Pérez Ramírez, a music producer, director, screenwriter, and actor of the Cuban Radio and Television, has been awarded the National Radio Prize, the highest distinction given by the radio system to mark the 89th anniversary the media in Cuba to be held next August 22 .
Ramírez Pérez , who is considered one of the most comprehensive workers of the radio, has been devoted to the creation and production of sound in Cuba, from Radio Progreso station, for which he has provided his exceptional professional work.
He is considered one of the best music producers, and operators of special effects for the Cuban radio, and also considered one of the best radio announcers, actors, writers and directors of radio dramas, has been multi-awarded in National Radio Festivals and with National Awards by the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba.
Iván Pérez Ramírez received the National Radio Prize on Friday, August 17th at the Jose Marti Memorial, as part of the activities scheduled by the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television in order to acknowledge the creative work of Cuban radio producers, who provide a great contribution to the development of sound production in Cuba.
