{dropcap}T{/dropca}he Caracol Theoretical Workshop, dedicated to the memory of Rufo Caballero, started on Wednesday October 12 with a session dedicated to critics in Cuba.

The workshop will have two sessions each day: one in the morning at 9.30 am and another in the afternoon at 2.00 pm. The workshop will be held from October 12 to 14 at the Ruben Martinez Villena hall of the Cuban Union of Writers and Artists (UNEAC).

The Theoretical Festival of the Caracol Festival, with more than 30 editions, is an event to debate and promote the artistic development in the Cuban cinema, radio and television. It also encourages the realization of audiovisual products of higher visual and human quality in the film, radio and television in Cuba.

Well-known specialists are expected take part in the workshops. They are: Norma Mederos, Manuel Calvino, Mario Masvidal, David Mateo, José Luis Estrada Betancourt, Fernando Perez, Magda Resik, Ciro Bianchi, Reinaldo Sanchez, Tatiana Zayas, Ilse Bulit, Soledad Cruz, Magda Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, Reinaldo Cedeño, Maydelis Gomez, Nelson Herrera, Julia Mirabal, Daysi Rubiera, Fátima Patterson, Noel Bonilla, Graciela Chailloux, Rigoberto Lopez, Rudy Mora, Roly Peña, Corina Mestre, Fernando Echevarria Victor Fowler, Bertha Verdura, Roger Ricardo, Rafael de la Osa and Milena Recio.
