In a few hours, the United Nations Organization (UN) will carry out once again the voting of the resolution presented by Cuba on the necessity to end the financial and commercial blockade imposed by the U.S. government against the country.

This is the 20th time for Cuba to demand justice at the UN and the Cuban people are kept on the ball of what may happen. We expect that in this occasion, like it has happened before, the countries in the world shown concern for this unfair blockade and support for the resolution to end it. The international support is growing more and more.

Due to the blockade, there are losses estimated at more than US 975 000 dollars, and limitations to use tools to improve the Cuban education system and health in order to protect human lives. For that reason, the ending of these limitations must stop.

On this occasion, 193 UN member countries will debate and certainly vote in favor of the document entitled "Necessity to end the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States against Cuba". The struggle of the US government to defeat the Cuban people through limitations in terms of food and medicine, among others, will be also showed at the meeting.

In the meeting carried out last year, 187 countries voted in favor of the Cuban resolution; only two countries were against it: USA and Israel, and there were three abstentions. Today, October 25, we are confident that once again the Cuban government and people will be strongly support in their incessant struggle to overthrow this unjust blockade; the world will be with us.
