The RadioCuba Company has done research along with other scientific institutions to reduce the vulnerability in the systems of transmission of radio electronic signals, in order to maintain communications throughout the country, even in severe weather conditions.
As published on the Radio Reloj Cuban web site, new pylons have been installed throughout Cuba. They are able to withstand winds of over 200 kilometers per hour, corresponding to hurricanes Category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson scale.
The information published by the station highlights that such installations will permit the maintenance of radio and television broadcasts throughout the island.
RadioCuba has provided a network covering the country in order to even the opportunities to access information and culture with the same quality indices.
For the technicians and specialists of RadioCuba, an entity of the Ministry of Information and Communications, remote areas are no longer a problem, since the achievement lies in getting greatest scope for the broadcasts.
