A new year begins and it is a motive to recall what has been done and outline the perspectives for this year.

Purposes, ideas, unattainable dreams, finally, facing the horizon, which implies first of all to asses the budgets that motivate the tasks accomplished until present days. The radio as any social activity requires to be analyzed and improved the smallest details. New perspectives and projects that do not involve the renunciation its nature and reason to exist that involve risks which are wisely and courageously accepted and faced. No human being labor, even in the field of exact sciences, able to evade the improving challenge and change. Since we built a few decades ago, day after day, a radio continually is inspired more revolutionary in the whole vast and deep sense that defined the concept.

Be well and stay, is the most serious and revolutionary challenge. A Revolution from the concept expressed by comrade Fidel that "Revolution is changing everything that must be changed," states that every moment demands of us, it is our mission. This concept urges us to stock so. Continuing the necessary wisdom to discern what and how we must change, and what requires us to continue making the same so far, but perhaps differently.
Until present we have reason to feel proud of this Radio faithful to

our history as the most legitimate aspirations of the Cuban society at all times and in its wider perspective. It is still, not a cause for complacency and accommodation, but stimulation to continue in that direction, although methods and styles are subject to change.

The twentieth century has already passed its first decade. New technologies
Communication is one of the most significant challenges for forms and contents in the performance radial. The own essence of the revolutionary radio becomes the cardinal factor
facilitating the emergence of new opportunities which involve, in turn, new achievements. Make every moment every moment that requires, Compass is for us to put right direction to flow
ideas and able to maintain consistent inspiration revolutionary who led us. On that basis we must forge understand that the contemporary demands of us every day, every minute, a Radio qualitatively new, different and superior.

As a dialectical challenge, the task involves radio continuity and discontinuity in contents and forms. Since the past has been; Radio twentieth century was distinguished itself by its ability to insert in the claims of his time, and did it well. It was a radio that inspires pride today as much as we do together all those who in some so involved in their day, although many of its makers have been other friends with which we have no physical presence.

Radio-changing, transforming and renewing are characteristic inherent in an information and communication revolution. The new challenges we face even greater commitment and sense of
responsibility to those who carry it into effect. Among these many challenges including the attainment of an increasingly participatory Radio capable of giving greater prominence to all stakeholders who are our main reason for being.

It's time to rethink, rebuild and reinvent the ways of informing and communicate, it is also time to discard obsolete patterns impregnated of false and distorted traditionalism with its hackneyed schemes accommodation incite useless and apathetic. It is time also to mark distance, very alert, with the snobbery of the ultramodern dilettante which often lie in wait to destroy everything good and valuable to today been done. We are called to a cultural role which involves artistic among other tools, and is rooted in the depths of our local and national spirit, without that implying in the least, the renunciation of universality, understood as part of a whole, and stripped of aseptic criteria for the existence lethargic  deprive human beings of unavoidable commitments.

All this requires a raw material based on the flow from outside media in, and vice versa, it is a correspondence permanent one-one. These ethical challenges, for the health must take care not to permeate the merely playful and trivial in any case would prevail. The time invites and requires us to seek a balance nutrient artery which is a reflection, a mirror and a consequence of
the exact reality.

The year 2010 makes its proposals, and the first one, answer each challenge in every aspect that they will appear. We must to continue studying, reflecting, and applying the radio product all the wisdom accumulated by generations of people in our media. Regardless of the conjectural adversities, mainly marked by the blockade suffered for decades, and the economic and environmental crisis that affects the entire world.  These are and other, rather than obstacles, motivations for, satisfied with what has been achieved so far, feel healthy while dissatisfaction with ourselves, believe have the capacity and human being potential  will do even better.

The value that we have defined and define will be reached.
