More than 5 000 000 cubans will vote next sunday

More than 8, 400 000 Cubans will vote next Sunday, April 25th for the delegates who will represent them at their constituencies. It will be a voluntary, secret and direct vote.

Radio Rebelde radio station reported on ongoing preparations for the vote which will take place throughout the country in what is considered a crucial democracy.

Some media outlets that respond to the European and U.S oligarchies are currently fostering a severe campaign against Cuba based on alleged violations of Human Rights.  Nevertheless, Cubans are getting ready to turn out at voting stations as they are eager to keep and strengthen their government structures by voting delegates to Municipal Assemblies.

All 100 radio stations in the country have made a large coverage of this political and social event by explaining the actions each voter has to carry out at the voting station as well as the documents required. The information has also addressed the duties of members of electoral tables, such us checking personal data of voters and providing the ballots.
