Cuban Medical Brigade in Haiti issued a statement supporting the Cuban Revolution considering the increase of international media campaign held by a Western propaganda machine which has attempted to dark the Cuban socialist process to the peoples around the world.

The message sent to the Portal of Cuban Radio by journalist Isidro Fardales from Radio Habana Cuba stresses that the lies and distortions of Cuban reality are part of disinformation campaigns which taking advantages from the complicity and ignorance of a few mercenaries and traitors to the nation and the “false heroes” of democracy and human rights attack again a revolutionary process carry out by the Cuban people. It is known perfectly well that transnational media agencies, especially the European and American are subordinated to imperialist hegemonic interests, which purpose is to divide the Cuban people and destroy the Revolution, said the statement issued this Friday.

Amid the ongoing struggle against Anti Cuban international media campaigns Cuban people firmly denied these aggressions and support the Revolution, the Communist Cuban Party and the Cuban government. Hundreds of thousands of voices are raised all over the country as historically have happened before  the threats of the Revolution’s enemies to show the world our unalterable decision to continue with the socialist process. 

It also underlines the global voice of solidarity to favor our cause; despite the relentless persecution and pressure they receive from the international reactionary press, foreign leaders and personalities just to be truthful.

The Cuban Medical Brigade in Haiti, a genuine representative of the humanistic principles of solidarity and leaded by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro from the revolutionary struggle, joins the battle of the Cuban people against the lies, hatred and imperial selfishness.

The Declaration of the hundreds of doctors and health personnel in the country devastated by the earthquake on January 12 highlights the strong commitment to the words of President Raul Castro at the closing of the IX Congress of the UJC, convinced that "the hesitation is synonymous with defeat," and reiterates the commitment to the Haitian people.

Defeating the claims of United States government and its European lackeys with the force of morality and truth, or their arms again if necessary and meant that as in the commemorations for the 49th anniversary of the defeat of imperialism in Playa Girón, and the massive response to the ballot in our electoral process, this May will give Cubans a message of firmness and determination.

The revolution is invincible thanks to the unity of the people and the strength of patriotic convictions, socialist solidarity. We will not let anything or anyone coming to say what to do or change, as we are aware of the errors and that can only be rectified within the Revolution for the good of all Cubans, says the Statement of the Cuban health to meet humanitarian mission in Haiti.

Finally, the statement expressed that the defense of our achievements, the battle to eradicate world hunger, poverty and disease, is today and will be the essential task of those who struggle all their lives, those who never give in and say without fear of error.
