Cubans' Satisfactory Respond on their Second Electoral Round.

More than one million Cuban citizens, representing the 82% exercised their vote on Sunday, as expected. They had already voted by 5:00 pm on their second electoral round, which was considered successful by the National Electoral Commission (CEN).

With this second round it finished the last stage of the elections. The Cuban people were aware of it since they reacted with enthusiasm to the turnouts call, as they did on their first round last April 25th, reported the CEN President Ana Maria Machado.

The CEN official said that the figure of voters in nine Cuban provinces exceeded the 82 %, more than expected.
