El arca cubana, a documentary by filmmaker and independent producer Ramón Luis Perez Martinez, will be displayed here today, after being chosen to participate in the Festival Cinesul 2010, along with 17 other works from 10 countries.

Perez Martinez said to Prensa Latina online that El arca cubana is an approach to the history of aggression or a series of violent acts knowingly executed by the U.S. or the Cuban born mercenaries to strike terror in our people, as well as the imperialist purpose of keeping the criminal imperialist economic, commercial and financial blockade of five decades in order to punish Cuba by the principle of solidarity of the revolutionary process that takes our nation. Martínez Pérez refers to his work, which used a lot of photographs on the various terrorist acts against his country over the past 50 years, the documentary is the revolutionary essence  socialist Cuba in the Caribbean that challenges this imperialist monster as they do currently the Five.

The antiterrorist fighters Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Rene Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando González are unjustly imprisoned in U.S. jails by a rigged judicial process and violate the U.S. Constitution.

They unmasked terrorist activities in the United States which are conceived against the Cuban people, under the protection of successive U.S. governments.

But Cuban filmmaker says, "All we have achieved the imperialists with aberrant aggression against our people are more united."

The documentary will be shown in the video room Dos Correios Cultural Center in Rio de Janeiro, which will also works from Argentina, Brazil, Benin, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, United Kingdom, Paraguay and Uruguay, selected by the Festival Cinesul 2010.

In the exhibition, Pérez Martínez will be represented by Brazilian filmmaker Marta Moreira, who lived for several years in the Caribbean island.
