With the historical legacy inspired by Commander Ernesto Che Guevara along with his heroic guerrillas of internationalist combatants, people from the province of Villa Clara are holding today the National Rebelliousness Day and they promise to work hard to contribute to the social, political, and economical development, first secretary of Party in Villa Clara Lima Corcho expressed in the ceremony in commemoration of the 57 anniversary of the storming to the Moncada and Carlos Manuel Cespedes Garrisons.
Lima Corzo congratulated the provinces of Havana, Ciego de Avila and Granma, which turned out to be winner at the emulation for the venue of July 26 and stressed the commitment by Villa Clara’s people of: “Not to allow the homeland die”. The participation of 90 000 compatriots attending the sculptural complex Ernesto Che Guevara to hold July 26 proves the previously statement.
The venue for the national Rebelliousness Day was won by the province of Villa Clara due to its achievements in political, economical and social sectors, mainly health, substitution of imported goods, education and industry.
In the celebration of July 26 appear some of those who stormed both garrisons, members of Granma yacht expedition, combatants of the revolution, as well as a wide delegation of Villa Clara’s people, who have beautified the city for the ceremony.
In the occasion of this event, the management of the Party in Villa Clara dedicates this July 26 to the Liberator Simon Bolivar and the Bicentenary of the beginning of struggles for the independence of our Americas. A wide delegation of the government and state of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as President Hugo Chavez could not attend the ceremony.
The ceremony of July 26 is being broadcasting at the National Chain of Radio, Cubavision Internacional channel and Radio Habana Cuba station.
