
Commander in Chief Fidel Castro visited the National Center for Scientific Research
This afternoon at 6:30 pm, Radio Rebelde, Radio Habana Cuba, Cubavision and Cubavision International will broadcast a Special Round Table with the presence of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, to evaluate the dangerous developments taking place in the Middle East.
On Wednesday, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro visited the National Center for Scientific Research (CNIC), within the framework of the 45th anniversary of the context of the 45th forerunner Scientific Center of the Cuban capital, announced Granma newspaper.
In the CNIC, founded on July 1, 1965, Fidel was received at noon by the general director of the center, Doctor Carlos Gutierrez and three of the principals of that institution. Of course, when word spread that Fidel was there, workers crowded and paid him a loving and spontaneous greeting that Fidel reciprocated with words of gratitude.
The CNIC was the first scientific center founded by the Revolution. It has trained over 20 000 specialists from several s branches as well as other important institutions like the Center of Agricultural Health were other important institutions like the Center for Agricultural Health, the Immunology Center and the Center of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The CNIC also formed many of the scientific-technical and directing mid-level leaders of other research centers in the country.
