
Fidel Castro’s Thoughts in Beijing
The Chinese translation of the book "Seleccion de pensamientos de Fidel Castro" was launched this Monday July 12 at the Institute of Latin American Studies at the Academy of Social Sciences of China.
The volume offers a selection of ideas of historic leader of the Cuban revolution, drawn from his speeches, and as part of the celebrations in the Asian nation for the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China.
“The translation and publication of the Chinese version of the book on Fidel Castro's thoughts is an unequivocal proof of the efforts of both nations to strengthen friendly cooperative Chinese-Cuban relations," said Li Zhenmin, vice-rector of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in China, Mario Alzugaray pointed out: "Our parties, peoples and governments share, according to their own characteristics, a common political project, which is the construction of socialism, we hope to achieve a more just and humane society with full opportunity for everyone. That is the ultimate desire shared and expressed by the leader of the Cuban Revolution, comrade Fidel Castro, and our presidents Hu Jintao and Raul Castro. "
The Chinese version of the book includes in alphabetical order the thoughts of the Cuban leader respecting the central idea that led, at the foot of the appointment, and it is recorded where the source is extracted. The original work belongs to Cuban professor and researcher Salomón Susi Sarfati and presented in Havana in August 2009.
