Fifth ordinary session of the National Assembly in Havana from July 28 to 29

Representatives of the Cuban Parliament will meet July 28, 29 to address those economic, political and social issues to be discussed at the fifth ordinary session of the National Assembly on July the first, some representatives announced yesterday to the press at the headquarters of the Parliament.

The members of the Parliament said that they will exercise as president of commissions on July 28, 29; while they will be informed by some ministries on July 30 and 31related to the National Assembly where the Code of Road Safety and the changes of Political –Administrative Division projects will be discussed.

Outcomes of a temporary commission set up to examine complaints and requests by population will be also addressed, as well as the national budget of the first semester in the year 2009 will be checked.

Some presidents of the National Assembly Commissions released those subjects will be discussed by the members of the Parliament, which have to do with almost all the main social issues. Some ministers and officials will also attend the meeting to give information and exchange parliamentary studies.
