The 12 permanent groups the Cuban Parliament will session today and tomorrow at the Havana’s Convention Center, where they will examine pressing issues of economic, political, social and productive in the country and the current international situation.

These working groups usually meet some days before the National Assembly of People's Power, whose Fifth Ordinary Period Sessions of the VII Legislature will be held on August 1st , when just over 600 members will discuss two bills, the New Political-Administrative Division and Road Safety Code.
Also that day's agenda includes the analysis of a report to the supreme governing body, following up on complaints, requests and suggestions of the population, and behavior of the 2009 budget, an issue so far discussed in areas of Economic Affairs Committee legislative body, told the press Alfredo Rodriguez, from the Office of Information and Broadcasting of the National Assembly of Popular Power.
