Fidel reflects on several issues with the members of the Cuban Parliament

Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz made an appeal to persuade the United States government to unleash a nuclear war, in his dialogue with the deputies to the National Assembly of the People’s Power of the Republic of Cuba during the extraordinary session this morning.

The meeting started at 11:00 am with a message of Fidel in which he specified in a concise way the current situation of the world and he considers the need to avoid a nuclear war of inestimable consequences for the humanity and highlighted the need to persuade the U.S government to trigger the war.

During the interventions of the participants was established a rich exchange of questions and answers in which were detailed several aspects of the current situation. Fidel pointed out the urgency to persuade the Washington administration, he also stated there is not much time as well as it is indispensable the dialogue among the civilizations and it must be quick. The Cuban leader is convinced the most powerful nations such as China and Russia must be alert in this sense.

Fidel also stated that the wars are instruments to keep the empire and that Obama is not Nixon, he decent person not a cynical one. Roosevelt has not dropped those bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The leader of the Cuban Revolution explained that the power nuclear weapons in the world are equivalent to 450 000 times the bombs dropped in Japan.

The session of the National Assembly of the People’s Power in is broadcasting live to the world by diverse television channels and Cubavision Internacional and has had a great impact by CNN, Telesur and The Bolivarian News Agency.
