Fidel Castro demands Obama to avoid the nuclear war

Just a few days before Fidel’s birthday, he met with deputies at the National Assembly of People’s Power at a extraordinary session to urge the necessity of persuading the US government and thus avoid that a nuclear war begins, which would have disastrous results for all the world.

The meeting at the Convention Center began at about 11:00 in the morning with a message of Fidel, in which he reviewed, in a concise way, current the international situation, stressed the necessity of persuading the US government for it not to follow the road towards the war and also talked clearly to the deputies, with intelligence.

Having words with members of Parliament, Fidel asked the following: Do you think that the great “empire” really wants to give up its will of checking merchant chips from Iran? Do you think that Iranian people, a country of deeply rooted customs connected to death, will have no courage to withstand the United States’demands? Does this contradiction have any solution?

During the meeting there was an exchange of questions and answers, in which details on issues of the current international situation were given and Fidel stressed the necessity of holding conversations. “That is essential, but must be quick, “he urged.

The leader of the Cuban Revolution knows for sure that countries like China and Russia must be trying to negotiate a pacific way. When asking him about the attitude of European Union, he said that from now on, they would do the most important thing and expects that they are determined to avoid the war.

During the speeches of representatives, they expressed their confidence on human values of US people, which has already been proved by means of visits of different groups to Cuba,  as well as the necessity of both countries strengthen their relationships.

On his intervention, the father of Elian Gonzales (the child of the raft) Juan Miguel Gonzalez gave a message to the people and government of the United States to encourage them from peace and harmony between all families and demanded a better treatment for the Cuban Five antiterrorists so they can released and thus enjoy of peace along with their beloved relatives.

This Parliamentary debate has been nationally and internationally broadcast on occasion of crucial times, when Fidel has been carrying out several actions in favor of peace, life of humanity and saving the world of catastrophe.

The leader of Cuban revolution called to join all forces all over the world to achieve the peace before the international plight, and send messages to as many people as possible. Related to this issue he said:  a week is too soon, but December is too long.

The presence of Commander Fidel Castro at the meeting is like am inspiring and renewal source for the struggle against the militaristic expressions and defend a better world.
