Fidel Castro remaims faithful to his dreams of justice

Fidel Castro is going to be 84 years old on August 13. He will probably not celebrate his birthday with total joy and peaceful, despite having millions of people from Cuba and around the world who love him and respect him.

For him is impossible to be happy, as a nuclear war in the Middle East foreseen with incalculable results is threaten the peace all over the world. Efforts to save the war must be joined, hence call to all peoples and governments to persuade the person who has the final decision, President of the United States.

Fidel has been raising awareness for some time ago about apocalypse that could come if humanity keeps to destroying the environment and people let themselves be influenced by The United States and its war politics.  Is it possible there is other subject more important to deal with?

For that reason, it is sad that the Cuban revolution’s enemies are not able to realize the imminent danger on humanity; even Fidel Castro addressed the National Assembly of People’s Power, after four years of resting, to talk and stress about this plight, no matter internal issues or reforms of the country.

Nobody in the whole world has struggled so much in favor of peace and survival human like Fidel has, President of Cuban Parliament Ricardo Alarcon said when concluding an extraordinary session request by the Cuban leader to especially analyze issues related to a possible nuclear war in the Middle East.

Just reviewing the history of Cuba, from the revolutionary triumph in 1959, it can state the real intentions of the imperialism of dominating the planet, and specially in the case of the United States of invading and destroying governments if not agree with US interests like Cuba, for being an example and guide for the Latin America and the Caribbean, which has turned the country along officials into an aim for criminal plans.

When the Crisis of October in 1962 took place at a moment in which humanity was on the brink of the third world war, Fidel, as a representative figure, was conspicuous by his dignity and strength; and some years after third-countries like Viet Nam and Angola, which were victims of the hegemonic politics of Washington along with its allies, would thank Fidel’s contribution for the solution of those regional conflicts that were threatening the world peace.

Other example of efforts carried out by Cuban President was his book “La Paz en Colombia” (Peace in Colombia), published in November, 2008, which deal with important documents, interviews and Fidel’s experiences and it is also a proof of the noble determination of Cuba to help Colombia for reaching the peace.

Moreover, Cuba was the first country that referred to the necessity of an international war against terrorism. Just a few hours after the US people suffered that tragedy on September 1, Commander Fidel Castro said:

“The current world problems can not be solved through violence. The international community should raise awareness about struggle against terrorism. The world will not survive if an strategic of peace and international cooperation is not followed”.
