Argentinean journalist Jimena Rivero described David Najarro new theoretical and practical manual of journalism and radio production as a literary and innovative point of reference.

The book was presented at the international symposium on Latin America and the Caribbean: from Independence Revolutions to Emancipatory Integration, which was held at the National University of Rosario, Argentina, to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the birth of Ernesto Che Guevara on June 14.
In analyzing the issue of multimedia monopolies and corporate interests regarding right to information and freedom of expression; Jimena explained that the various chapters of Najarro’s book explain how radio functions as a means of dissemination.

The member of the Argentinean Club of Journalist Friends of Cuba stressed the importance of that work at a time in which journalists and the media should play a leading role, and added “we need to be more professional and thorough ".

She explained that the text also presents thoughts on community radio and its social importance today, especially in Latin America and Argentina itself, which again has a role from the New Law of Audiovisual Communication Services.

Finally, Jimena Rivero recognized the quality of the book and its author, who was able to reflect his experience as a journalist in Camagüey, and Cuba. (Radio Cadena Agramonte).
