Cuban Nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) denounced the double standard and inconsistency of U.S. antiterrorist policy during the fourteenth session of the Human Rights Council, meeting in this city.
In a joint statement, was referred the unjust condemn to the Five antiterrorists who are serving long sentences in the United States while the confessed murder Luis Posada Carriles walk though the streets of that country.
The document mentions the impunity of the United States government, who is the mastermind of the bombing of midair Cubana Airlines plane with 73 passengers on board in 1976, and also the responsible for bombings of Cuban hotels in 1997.
Our people know very well what terrorism means, for having suffered a ruthless way for more than five decades, sponsored, protected, financed and organized by the U.S. government itself, the note adds.
The Cuban Movement for Peace and Sovereignty of Peoples, the Organization of Solidarity with Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America, the Cuban Association of the United Nations and the Federation of Cuban Women, signed the text, rejecting those who provide assistance or seek refuge to terrorists.
