The Colombian congresswoman reported about her successful talks with Fidel, the he was interested in all efforts underway in favor of reconciliation between Venezuela and Colombia.
Cordoba is head of a group so-called “Colombianos por la paz” (Colombian people in favor of Peace), which suggested an alternative before the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) for an attempt of peace agreement with Military groups from Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), National Liberation Army (ELN), and those redoubt of former paramilitary groups; a subject internationally published at fist level, Radio Caracol station reported.
Cordoba, considered also the spokeswoman of Colombians, had expressed her optimism for the new establishment of commercial relations between Venezuela and Colombia, which was specified on Tuesday by Presidents Hugo Chavez y Juan Manuel Santos. Cordoba suggested setting up a Legislative Commission by members of the Fifth Commission of Senate, to address along with Venezuelan authority, issues such us the gasoline problem, the crisis on ranching field, the suspension of meat and milk exports.
