Tribute to Fidel by social networks

Through the  Facebook page of  the  Havana Casa del ALBA Cultural, Gente Nueva publishing house will present the title Fidel, el muchacho   de Birán, written by Ángel Velazco. Meanwhile for this Thursday the 12^th,  An Encounter with History has been  scheduled, based on a  virtual discussion regarding the imprint and significance of the legacy bequeathed by the  Father of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, which will be presided  by the prestigious and renowned historian Fabio Fernández Batista. 

On Friday the 13th, the photographic  exhibition Fotografías sobre el Comandante en Jefe will be inaugurated, coordinated by the Photos Archive of Cuba and the National Council of Plastic Arts. 

The capital’s Casa del ALBA Cultural, for its part, has reserved for August 26 the exhibition entitled Yo soy Fidel, counting on  plastic art works made by children of the socio-cultural project “Color miel” in Caibarién, Villa Clara. 

Meanwhile, the Cuban Book Institute (ICL) will develop until Saturday, August 14^th ,  virtual activities under the title of Fidel y el Libro, a space in which the transcendental contribution and impulse that the leader of the Cuban Revolution gave to the Territorial Editions System will be evoked , a body celebrating these days  its twenty-first anniversary. 

Similarly, through  Facebook and Instagram profiles of the National Council of Plastic Arts (CNAP), the Arte Collage Habana Gallery of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets will present  the collective exhibition Carteles, made up of political, cultural and social propaganda posters  featuring  ,as  common thread, the image of our Commander in Chief in different contexts. 

For August 12^th  and 13^th , always at 5 pm, the Cultural Heritage Center of Havana  has launched its invitation to attend  the Animadas Fantasías Online party, in which children would participate with a disguise  and show other interesting initiatives;  meanwhile, also through  the platforms of the National Museum of Decorative Arts in Havana, will appear  Fidel y la infancia , showing decorative arts objects that reflect Fidel’s relationship with children. 

Commemorations  for the 95th birth anniversary of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro, are to close on Sunday, August 15^th , at 10 am, with the circus show Trompoloco de Fiesta, which will be broadcast on the Facebook page of the National Circus of Cuba and the Circuba International Festival.
