Cuban Radio History
It is not the first time nor the last one I believe that a character will change the name of an actress or an actor….There are many examples Raquel Revuelta, Mario Limonta, Enrique Almirante, Rogelio Blain, Enrique Molina among others are beginning to be known by the people, as Dona Barbara, Nacho Verdecia, Robin Hood, Enrique Lagardere, Silvestre Canizo.
{dropcap}I{/dropcap} had the opportunity to see him performing in the theater of our home city, Camaguey in the late seventies, when the activities are of the Dramatic Group of Camaguey were renewed. Among the works are El velorio de Pachencho and Pobre Papá Montero... the artists from the dramatic group do not have to argue about it So very little need to invoke the fellow Drama Set in Camagüey, already working as actors on Radio Cadena Agramonte, provincial radio station, I directed the dramatic group in 1984 when they claim the advisability of moving Hector and his wife, actress Elsa Blanco to Havana City. I consider the highest quality reached by the Dramatic Group in Camaguey. It has passed 25 years and prominent history in the Theater, Radio, Movies and Television of Hector Echemendía, also enriches this work, because they are Rostros que se Escuchan.
