A new cultural center named Fábrica de Arte Cubano (Cuban Art Factory) will open on February 13 with a concert by Cuban artists X Alfonso in the ancient facilities of an oil factory located on the corner of 26th Street and 13th streets, in El Vedado neighborhood, in Havana.
This cultural center was created by X Alfonso in order to achieve a much closer relationship with the public, in terms of cultural consumption. It becomes a meeting point and advocates or a richer and more interactive recreation.
Therefore, the factory will not only provide great music; it will also exhibited a varied selection of works by plastic artists, screenings of short films and documentaries, as well as an alternative fashion runway.
Fábrica de Arte Cubano will open from Thursday to Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am, and the entrance ticket will cost CUP $ 50. During the initial week, there will be concerts by major exponents of Cuban music.
Silvio Rodriguez will sing part of his in his concert on February 14 at 7:00 pm on the occasion of Valentine´s Day, and Santiago Feliu will perform on February 15 at 11:00 pm
