Members of the Irish Cuba Solidarity Forum are preparing a container of medical supplies to be sent from Dublin to the Cuban health system, particularly to the “Hermanos Ameijeiras” hospital in Havana.
The action is part of a national campaign in that European country in support of the Cuban people and against the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial blockade.
Cuban ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, sent a message to thank the participants.
In it, he highlights the ties of brotherhood between both peoples, which is also highlighted in the support of the Irish to Cuba in the battle against the criminal siege that Washington has been applying for more than 60 years.
What specific types of medical supplies are included in the Irish donation?
