Community cultural work in the Cuban national identity

This workshop is the same evidence of the many ways to improve the realities of communities from different cultural and geographical contexts, which notes that the community cultural work has at its core the different local practices, whose main value is to achieve integration, rapprochement and dialogue between people and local institutions, detailed Fabelo who is part of the guests at the meeting that blends cultural promoters, art instructors, teachers, community culture specialists and specialists CIERIC.

The opening day of the socialization of experiences was marked by the representatives of the Community audiovisual production projects Almiquí and Picacho, and the Andante art gallery experience, the territories of Holguin, Granma and Guantanamo, respectively.

Almiquí and Picacho are experiences that develop audiovisual narrative-creation process in children and adolescents from the socialization of audiovisual appreciation workshops, editing, photography and production of communication products, to display the traditions, cultures and historical values by participatory management of their own people.

Andante gallery is a proposal that promotes the artistic process from the latest trends of the artistic manifestations of BoyArt and Performance, a children’s project opening to the collective welfare by managing alternative spaces and social integration from their environment, which is a methodological platform for the teaching of aesthetic appreciation of fine arts.

The Regional Exchange Workshop Experience program provides in the socialization of a dozen projects including Claustrophobia, Santiago de Cuba included, an advocacy project whose essence is based in promoting the habit of reading and projection works by Cuban writers, and graphomania dedicated to creating motivations, values and activities to enhance local traditions returning from the various literary and artistic genres.

The event in addition to the interactive presentation of the finalists’ experiences in this edition includes project fair, methodological reflections, and the selection of projects to be presented in 2016 to the national event of these workshops in Cuba.
