According to Edwin Gonzalez, delegate of the Mission, the activity will be used to deliver the commemorative medal for the anniversary to personalities and entities that provide their unconditional support to the Puerto Rican independence.
The historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, and President, Raul Castro, are among those honored.
The ICAP, the Cuban Communist Party’s Central Committee, the Organization of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa and Latin America, and the Latin American and Caribbean Continental Organization of Students will be also congratulated.
Since its founding, the Mission has, among other objectives, to strengthen the fight for the independence of the Puerto Rican people taking advantage of the historical relationship with Cuba and the presence of several embassies and political organizations worldwide in Havana.
