The Iranian official handed Cabrisas a message on behalf of President Hasan Rouhani to Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
During the meeting both leaders spoke on the potential to expand economic, commercial and cooperation ties that exists between the two countries and praised the good work of the current bilateral ties.
The Iranian delegation included the Director of the Regional Office of Latin America and the Caribbean in the Foreign Ministry Ahmad Pabarja and Ambassador to Cuba, Kambiz sheikh Hassani.
On the Cuban side, the General Director of Bilateral Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Emilio Lozada Garcia.
