There will be three days of concerts, theoretical panels, and other activities that will have as a goal, to make us deepen in the ways of oral improvised decima and its relation to music, plastic arts, literature, videos, and theater. “This way”, said the organizers, “we promote the concept of Neorrepentismo”.
An opening concert will also take place on September 24th, at 9:00 pm. The musicians that will participate in it are the following: Nelson Valdés, Héctor and Néstor Gutiérrez, Barbarito Torres, Virgilio Velázquez, Roly Ávalos, Alex Díaz, Eduardo Llibre, and Miriannys Montes de Oca.
The presentation and all the other night concerts can be watched on Oralitura Habana’s Facebook and YouTube accounts, as well as on Canal Clave.
In this cultural event, one of the most awaited moments is the improvisation duel, on Tuesday, September 25th also at 9:00 pm, where we will count with the participation of DRC, Anamarys Gil, Sindy Manuel Torres, Erdwin Vichot, Virgilio Velázquez, and other artists.
Starting in the current edition, this event celebrates the 100th anniversary of Jesús Ortega Ruiz’s birth, in 2022; the 35th anniversary of the AHS, and it is also dedicated to the Experimental Group for Improvised Poetry.
