She (who is also known as the Bride of Feeling) was part of this band along with Ochoa, Segundo, Ibrahim, Ferrer, Pío Leyva, Rubén González, and other Cuban talented musicians who changed the course of their careers towards international fame.
The original CD, which is named after this orchestra, was recorded at the Areito Studios, in Havana, and became an opportunity to gather their voices and immortalize their songs. Some of these songs are: Chan Chan, El Cuarto de Tula, Dos Gardenias, Veinte Años, and Lágrimas Negras.
With a project devised by Nick Gold and Ry Cooder, the so-called Golden Age of Cuban music was felt in the world because of the defenders of bolero, son, guajira, salsa, and Traditional Cuban music.
